Review: REVELING IN SIN by Meghan March!

My review: Would it be over the top for me to give this six out of five stars? Maybe... but it would feel oh-so-right. And well deserved, because just like previous Meghan March series... she ended this with a bang. She just makes me feel so much! She hurts me, and I end up thanking her for it. My emotions went for a several hour roller coaster ride, and I'm not sure I will ever really recover from it. But hey... I'll be the first in line when she releases something else, because she hurts me so good.

This picks up right where the previous book left off, so don't even dare thinking about reading this without having read the previous two. Finally, our questions are answered - we learn more about the Lincoln and Whitney's past, and what lead them to today, and it's everything I needed it to be. I refuse to spoil this for you all, so read it NOW! This series, and Meghan March in general, is highly recommended!

Review: GUILTY AS SIN by Meghan March!

     

My Review: I loved, loved, loved that we got more of the backstory for Lincoln and Whitney. More has been revealed to us when it comes to the history of their previous relationship, but I'm still left with questions, which is making me beyond eager for the last book. I have to know what happens! Do these two ever get their Happily-Ever-After?!

It's hard to review this book without giving anything away from the first book, and I refuse to spoil anything for you. Like with all Meghan March's books, there's a dark side to these characters. They're flawed, so far from perfect.. but it makes them so genuine, and so human. Her stories are gritty and real. Sure, I probably will never meet a guy like Lincoln, but she makes me feel like I *can.* I can't wait for the third part!

Recommendation: Direct sequel, you must read the first book first.

Review: RICHER THAN SIN by Meghan March!

My Review: I'm a huge fan of Meghan March. How could I not be? She's written some of the hottest books I've ever read. Even the books I don't like as much by her and still quality reads worth my time. And this book takes everything I like about her writing - strong hero, a heroine that wants to stand on her own two feet, a complex but not overwhelming plot, and hot and steamy love scenes - and adds in some extra depth. 

This book just has a different feel than her last few series. While I was sucked into those stories as well, I feel the connection between Lincoln and Whitney, stronger than previous books. And sure, the hotness is there, but this book focuses more on these two getting back together rather than them going at it like bunnies. I also enjoy getting the back and forth between their past relationship and the current state of affairs. Ahhh, I just can't wait until book two!

Recommendation: You'll need to read the whole set, so be on the lookout for book 2!

Review: IRON PRINCESS by Meghan March!

  

My Review:  Another Meghan March book down... and another puddle of drool because I'm so in love. All of her books are the best, and each time a new one comes out, I say it's my new all time favorite. But there's something about this series. I like it better than Mounts books. Both this book and the previous one have hit all my happy buttons, and I cannot get enough. 

I so wish I could talk about the ending, and share my ideas of where this is going, but this, like all my reviews, will remain spoiler free. I will say, however - Oh my gosh, I need the next book NOW!! How can she do this to me? And expect me to wait on top of it?! Thank goodness there's only a month to wait...

Review: SAVAGE PRINCE by Meghan March!

 
My Review: So, I mean, I knew I was going to love this anyways because it's Meghan March and she has yet to write something that hasn't tickled my fancy (heh!).. But from the first scene, this book sucked me in. She really didn't hold anything back this time - jumped right into the hot stuff. And I was not complaining.

I loved the mystery of this book. In her previous darker series, the Mount Trilogy, we pretty much knew what kind of guy we were getting into. But this just has a different feel - a sexy, stranger sort of feel. Seriously, read this one. I'm already desperate for book two!

Cover Lovin': Oh my, yes! This is definitely a good cover.

Recommendation: This is the beginning of a new trilogy, so no need to know the previous books by Meghan March - but be ready for a cliffhanger!

Final Rating: FOUR AND A HALF out of FIVE stars (4.5/5)!! I need more now! Addicting from beginning to end.

Review: DEFIANT QUEEN by Meghan March!

  

My Review: Yes! Thank goodness I finally got more Mount. After the last cliffhanger, I have been more than a little on edge. I've been stuck somewhere between forcing everyone I know to immediately go buy book one so I have someone to talk to about it, but then also warning everyone to wait until closer to the series being completed, because this cliffhanger business is serious. Like, heart skipping a beat serious.

I love that we get some of Mount's background, and we are finally starting to see a different side of him. While book one featured Mount as a hot bad guy you couldn't help but be attracted to despite how clearly dark he was... Defiant Queen shows us more to him. He does feel, he does have reasons behind his behavior... He's still totally a bad guy, but.. I get it, I guess.

I also have to say how much I appreciate Kiera - and how author Meghan March writes her. Kiera is developing some feelings for Mount, not that she might want to admit them, but she doesn't lose her fire. She is still herself, and doesn't suddenly become a sappy, useless heroine. And that's why I keep reading this author.. She writes amazing characters that I love. And some very, very hot scenes.

Review: RUTHLESS KING by Meghan March!

   My Review: Wow, guys. Once again, Meghan March proves herself to be to be the queen of smut. I could not put this down. The whole book left me feeling so conflicted. How can I hate Keira's situation, yet be so turned on at the same time? Just more evidence showing that March knows what she's doing. She can take a difficult subject and make you fall in love.

I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive until the next book. I think this series makes me even more scared of Lachlan... yet also very, very turned on. I refuse to spoil anything, so I won't go into any more detail. But you guys simply MUST read this - now!

Recommendation: You can start this series with no prior knowledge of Lachlan, or the previous series this is a spin-off from. But, there is a cliffhanger, so beware!

Review: REAL DIRTY by Meghan March!

My Review: Does Meghan March hate me? Because she keeps doing this insane cliff hangers and I am starting to feel like she is punishing me for something. I was gasping like a fish out of water when I got to the last page. Dang it. Luckily we don't have to wait too long for the second book. I'm desperate.

Now, let me confess something. I didn't like Boone in the beginning. His first few interactions with Ripley? Yeah... he was kind of a jerk. Very prickly, taking offense to everything Ripley said, and getting all huffy. I get it, guy has definitely had a rough couple days. But no need to be a jerk! But I should have known better - I was falling in love with Boone by the very next chapter. I don't know how March does it. Voodoo, or something. She writes heroes that are dynamic enough that their personality isn't always shiny and charming, but it they're still clearly good people.

So excuse me while I go pace the floor, impatiently waiting for book two!
