Over at Literary Escapism, you can enter to win one of three books; "Branded by Fire" by Nalini Singh, "Seduce the Darkness" by Gena Showalter, or "At Grave's End" by Jeaniene Frost. You can find the contest HERE .
I'm a big fan of Jeaniene Frost, her Night Huntress series became one of my favorites from the first book. I have yet to check out Nalini Singh, but she's on my "Authors to check out" list, which is growing by the day. And I have recently become a fan of Gena Showalter's writing, not that I've read her Alien Huntress books, at least not yet.
That being said, I'll add in a bit about what I'm currently reading - "Darkest Night" by Gena Showalter. The series was recommended to me by a friend, and since we read almost all the same novels, I trusted her judgement. And so far, I'm really enjoying it! If it wasn't for some cleaning and such I have to do around the house, I'd be much further along.
I hope everyone gets a chance to check out the contest, as well as "Darkest Night." Happy Fourth of July!

Getting started!
Okay, so I stated that this blog will be about books and the like, but I think I'm allowed a little bit of a introduction. My name is Amanda, and I'm a full time student, part time.. whatever, really. I'm the type of person that reads books obsessively, most of the time, I can't imagine leaving home without a book handy. I guess that explains one of my majors - English.
My favorite genre would have to be paranormal romance, as well as urban fantasy. Though I also read science fiction, fantasy, even the occasional historical romance. As long as romance is involved somewhere!
This is my first real blog, so forgive me if it takes me a while to get into the swing of things. If you randomly happen upon my blog, feel free to stick around!
