My Review: Excuse me while I go add Ryan to my book boyfriends list. Not only that, but he's going right at the top. He's hot, he knows his flaws and comes right out and admits them, he has a great sense of humor, and he would do anything for the people he cares about. Uh, yeah, it's no wonder I'm in love.
The biggest downside of this book for me was Mariana's temperament. She could go from hot, to cold, and back in the blink of an eye. It was hard for me to keep up with her, especially since this novel is fast paced anyways, and adding in quick mood changes made it even harder to follow. But while it could be difficult for me to gauge her stance on anything, I do have to say her mood shifts did seem to fit her character, so it's not like this is entirely out if left field. There's a very good chance this is just a me thing, and everyone else loved her. Your mileage may very.
This book is just so... perfectly Geissinger. She writes such compelling stories that, even if they are out there sometimes, you are so deeply sucked into the plot and characters that nothing else matters. Everything that I have read by this author has been keeper shelf material, and something that I could not put down. It manages to be so emotional that I start to get anxious for the characters.. but luckily this author isn't a complete sadist, and gives readers happy and humorous moments in between to keep us sane.
I'm already desperate for more!

Recommendation: Each book in the Wicked Games series can be read as a stand-alone.
Final Rating: FOUR out if FIVE stars (4/5)!! Hot and exciting, this book had everything I needed.
