Follow Friday time!

Happy Friday everyone! It doesn't feel like a Friday to me, since I'm working the next four days in a row, but help me make it more Friday-y by joining in on Follow Friday.

Welcome! For anyone new to my blog, my name is Morning Glow (aka Amanda), and I've been blogging for a year and a half now. I started this blog so I would have somewhere to talk about the books I've read, since once I finish a good book, I want to tell everyone about it. I read a little bit of everything, but mostly Romance, Urban Fantasy, and Paranormal Romance. However, I was raised on Science Fiction and Fantasy, so expect some of those, and I like to throw in the occasional Mystery just to confuse people.

So again, welcome! And have a great weekend! =)
Happy Reading!

Good Morning Amanda!

Happy Friday.

New follower here. I’m doing all three of the Friday blog runs. I don’t limit myself to budget with books. I just love to read and write so that line is always doable for me. And Yes, I love start a series at the 1st book.

I try to keep it under 20 on any given month unless I have birthday or holiday money to spend.

I am following now and can't wait to see more from your blog.

Hi there Amanda! Just hoppin' on by. <3 I'm a new follower! :D

I pretty much read and review all the genres you stated (less on the romance, though). Like you, I was raised on science fiction (Anne McCaffrey love right here!) and fantasy (and random Tamora Pierce shoutout!). Those are the genre's I hold dear to my heart. :) I can't wait to read more of your posts. <3

Book budget? What's a book budget?

Seriously, I don't have one. I don't keep on buying books until I hit
bankruptcy but neither do I hold myself back from buying a book that really
speaks to me.

I exercise a fair amount of fiduciary responsibility but nothing so formal
as to be called a book budget.

Thank God It's Follow Friday!

Wow everyone, thanks for stopping by!!

Yeah... book budget, who needs 'em! (I probably do, actually)... frankly I just buy and hope that I don't spend too much. I'm more than willing to eat cheap meals at home and buy more books than go out to nice restaurants.

I can't wait to check out all of your blogs when I get home - I hope you're having a great weekend!

I wrote a poem called "Morning Glow" in 2002. You seem to be the person to share it with, I'm betting you are a poet/writer also.
I hope words aren't too "fresh".
Thanks, Mike

Morning glow...
Filtered sunlight illuminates
The bedroom at dawn.

Morning glow
Tans her pale skin
After a night of passion.

Morning glow
Passes between two lovers
Emerging from a warm shower.

Morning glow...
Smiles from knowing
This can go on forever!

Morning glow...

(I thought this would have been a great perfume name for an upscale market. Found out a young women's' personal product now has that name.Missed it by THAT much!)
