2017 Reading Challenges!

Well, another year (almost) done, and two more completed reading challenges! Three, if you count Goodreads, which is just a number - so I left that one off.

This year I decided to participate in two yearly reading challenges - the 2017 Popsugar Reading Challenge (minus the "Advanced" section), and the Unapologetic Romance Readers 2017 Romance Reading Challenge.

I appreciate the Popsugar challenge since it pushes me to read outside of my usual genres. I'm a romance, graphic novel, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy reader for the most part, and this challenge ensures that I seek out more of the literary world. I've competed the past three years (including this one), and I already have my 2018 document ready to go for next year!

And I'll admit - yes, you will see some duplicate items. But nothing is duplicated on the same list, just that one item might appear on both lists.

As stated above, I also participated in the Unapologetic Romance Readers 2017 Reading Challenge. This one was great, because while I'm a huge lover of romance, that doesn't mean I read something from all subgenres - and this ensured I had to check out some that, well to be honest, I was avoiding. I also might have played a little fast and loose with the categories - counting some books for things others might not 100% agree with, but.. It was fun all the same!
