My Review: I wish I had paid more attention when I signed up to read and review this book - the main characters relationship actually begins in previous books of the series. And on top of that, the characters from past books play a large role in this book as well. But I managed just fine. Sure, I was a little confused sometimes, and it took me a couple chapters to get a real grasp on how everyone was connected. But I was so into the story line, and so eager to know what happened - I refused to let any unknowns distract me. Clearly this author had the goods, enough to keep me going no matter what, so kudos are in order.
We all know second chance romances are my jam, and this book hit all the right spots. I was practically drooling in the beginning because it was everything I wanted - he ghosted on her, now he's back and they meet unexpectedly, before he could meet her again on his terms. And just because she understands why, doesn't mean she's going to deal with that again - girl has more important stuff to deal with. I was seriously sneaking pages of this during any available break, because I had to know what happened. The romance really sold this one for me.

Recommendation: The two main characters have a past that appears in previous books, but you can manage without having read them.
Final Rating: FOUR out of FIVE stars (4/5)!! Great read, with a heart melting romance!

About the Author:
Tarina has spent her entire life in and around the military - first as a dependent and then as an enlisted Air Force member.
In 2015, a friend challenged her to complete NaNoWriMo. She dusted off one of the many stories she'd started over the years, threw it in the trash, and started all over.
