My Review: I love, love, love mythology. And as much as I love the original myths, I love modern versions or contemporary spins on them even more. So of course, when I saw this book mentioned, I had to hunt it down. And this story is a mix of everything I enjoy - one part Greek mythology, one part contemporary love story where two broken people come together.
This was a very well-written story. I was hooked very early on, mostly because I love how this author modernized the Greek Gods, especially their feuds. But even though they're not thousands of years older, it doesn't mean they don't still have the same faults - and Staci Hart did an exceptionally good job making these larger-than-life characters believable and almost.. human. And on top of that, she made Dead and Lex equally as believable, and likable - despite their flaws.
I can't wait to see where this series goes in the future!
